On Friday’s blog post last week, I introduced a friend and business partner of mine Casey Moran. I also introduced Casey’s break-thru new product The True Path Journal. I hope that if you are following my guidance at all, and you want to increase your chances of achieving your goals, that you reviewed this phenomenal product! I don’t rave or promote products too often, but this one is special.
As 2017 came to a close last December, I was in a bit of a funk. Yes, this happens to everyone, even the best of us, LOL! But in all seriousness, I had been offered a severance package from the company that acquired the company I had worked for the last 11 years. After the high of the company I helped to build for 11 years, had sold back in October, now after 20 years in the industry, I was deemed as not a “Culture Fit” by the new company and was let go. At first you might have thought I was excited at the new opportunity, and had it happened on my terms, I might have been excited, but it didn’t happen on my terms and I was a bit blind-sided, frustrated, and trying to figure out what to do next.
However, after some reflection, a lot of conversations with friends and family, some business partners, even a few coaches, and a lot of focus on my goals and what would be next for me. I concluded that this was a blessing! Although the timing wasn’t ideal, as this was going to challenge me to take some of my projects to the next level much faster than I anticipated, it might also give me the kick-start needed to accelerate my goals. During this process, in one of my meetings with my now business partner Casey Moran, we discussed how this was a great thing and I needed to embrace it. He had provided me a copy of his True Path Journal and I began to review and really use his tool as it was intended.
I quickly realized, as I mentioned in last weeks blog, that this was the missing piece to the gap between my Goal Setting program and my new Time Management program. I followed his process, like a student, instead of like an evaluator, and was I excited about the results! This was an extension of my Goal Setting work, as it really seemed to pick up where my book ends and introduces a tool to use daily to keep those goals in front of you each day, which is a key goal achieving strategy.
Casey’s True Path Journal incorporates your routines for daily activities with a planner component. It also allows you to keep your goals front and center of your daily thoughts, as well as introducing a journal component for recognizing what you’re grateful for, and areas for daily reflection. It even has a section on what to consider that you should be doing more mindfully. In short, it is awesome! I’ve included a few pictures of his journal with this post, so you can get a feel for it. And, as I have stated, it is a great complement to my Goal Setting Process!
As a final plug, I encourage you to take advantage of this special offer I worked out with Casey for all my followers. If you order his journal through my website, you will get your copy for just $25 and I throw in the shipping. And to sweeten the pot, if you buy a copy of my book, as well as Casey’s journal, I will do a bundled price of just $39 for the Success with Goals book, and The True Path Journal, and again that includes the shipping!
